They married 23-05-1787 in Neer, Limburg. See www.aezel.eu for DTB in Limburg prior to 1811.
The wedding certificates records that Jan Baptist Clephas is born in Leende for some reason, but when searching in aezel I find that he indeed is born in Merum, baptized in Herten (02-12-1763) and indeed a son of the parents as recorded in the death certificate. Furthermore, it is recorded at the wedding certificate that Wilhelmina Theelen is the doughter of Petrus Thelen and Anna Maria Mooren, and thus she is baptized in Neer (23-12-1764).

Thank you Bram! I have not visited the aezel site before today.
Relatives have told me that residents of Leende use a word that I think sounds like lient in the local dialect for the name of their town. I've only heard this name; never seen it written before.
